Hey Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. I've posted a few comments on the Bob Clark forum.
I was just curious...."What do you think albino retics will be going for this year?" Last year $1,500 seemed to the marker. I wonder if it will go down a bit this year.....what do u think?? [nvy]
They should be due in the next couple of months, right?
Thanks,
Susan P.

Albino retics were at $2000 last year and will probably stay that way. They hold their value really well and should for years to come.

A lot of the major python breeders are keeping their albino retics prices at $2000, but i have seen them at shows for as low as $1400.
Does anyone think that within the decade the price will fall drastically from what it is now? Just like what happened with the albino burms.

I think they will in time as more people aquire these animals more people will be breeding there fore driving down the price.Hopefully it will take a decade for this to happen since i have a pair should be able to breed next year.

Like all snakes it will be supply and demand that will drive the price down.
I like how the bigger breeders keep ther prices up to try and keep the retail price up around $2000,however the the smaller guys will always have to charge a lot less to compete w/ the bigger breeders.
Would you purchase a albino off kingsnake for $2000 when you could call Mike up and get the excellant service and guarantee for the same price?? Hell no.
Unfortunately, I think we are going to start seeing alot of albino retics priced around $1000 next year on kingsnake.
Thanks...
