Cypress for my JCP's and water dragon and newspaper for my corns.
For those of you who use cypress mulch, do you feed in the enclosure? If so are there any worries about them ingesting the cypress mulch? Any input is greatly appreciated
I was wondering that to. How about the aspen. I do have my corn on that for display in my living room.

I use DCL's for my pythons and usually use aspen on my colubrids. I have used cypress before, just was a pain!

I keep the majority of my snakes on cypress and have not experienced any problems with this. If I've just sprayed down cages or if I have a snake that is in a particularly humid enclosure, I'll offer prey on newspaper just in case.

I use cypress for my animals that require humidity, and I use aspen for the desert animals(rattlers)

Big newspaper fan. If I could get anything besides Aspen or Cedar or Pine I would use that instead, but for now its newspaper.

I use cypress with all my snakes and I have never had a problem. Think of it like this if they were in the wild would they eat on a clean smooth surface. I know anything is possible but I don't worry about ingestion.
Tried cypress mulch and calci sand for my rosy boas, but both were such a pain that i went to newsprint and now that's all I ever use. Whatever works, you know:).

I use a thin thin green carpet for my pythons. I have several pieces ready for change when they get soiled. I use a mixture of coconut, cypress, and zoo-med reptile calcium sand for my monitors.
