Alright...so, I had my whole schedule messed up and redone and the only class that's the same is 4th period. Well, that's okay... I guess. Anyway, during 5th period, Communications/Speech Applications (everyone in the class is new to it) the teacher was explaining to us what 'round room' was... where we go around in a circle and everyone talks about issues and what they like, blah blah blah. So anyway, she gave us a start off... "What would you do with a million dollars". Of course just to be stupid I say "I would buy a llama or an emu" but there's this one kid... he's mentally challenged and he's kind of a 'teacher's helper'. So the teacher asks "Jaime, what would you do with a million dollars". He gets up and says "I would buy a truck and reptiles". I was surprised. Right then I was like "Dude, you totally rock... snakes are the coolest!!" Maybe he's just facinated by them or something. But we all got into a conversation about my reptiles and what I keep, and what I feed them, etc. Now the teacher is going to let me bring in one of my snakes to show the class, talk about it and such. My last Biology teacher and my new Pre-Ap Biology teacher wouldn't let me bring one of my snakies in, so I'm glad I get this chance now. I just thought it was cool that even he had a love for them :)

It's always great to hear people that you don't know say that they really like reptiles.

It'd be pretty cool to find another person at my school who likes reptiles. The only other I know of is my buddy Sean, and I don't think I'm gonna find anymore.

Amazingly, a kid who used to volunteer with me at my vet likes reptiles (he's a real dumbass though... he got a burm for his second snake), and I know about 2 or 3 other people that do as well. I don't have any classes with them and don't get to talk to them much :(

Just be very careful. I would hate to see you lose your snakes because of a show and tell.

Hi,

That's cool you're able to take in your snake.
I take some of my snakes to a grammer school, just so kids won't grow up so afraid.

I take my 7-1/2ft boa he's about 50 lb. and my hog nose most of the time.
Just thought I would share.
